Lost Dream in Pink House: Dong Shiao-Wen (1995) aka Li dai ming qi Hong lou can meng zhi Dong Xiao Wan

This is a poorly-produced R or NC-17 movie, based on the story of the Dong Xiaowan, the well known prostitute in Ming Dynasty.

Blood Ritual (1989) aka Xie luo ji

The story opens up with a woman being sacrificed and her heart being ripped out of her chest. The rest of the movie doesn't exactly follow that beginning as it turns into a standard crime drama. The police are after these Satanic Cults and they have no leads. A man is released from prison and gets involved in fighting these Cultist with a friend and a female singer.

Violated Angels (1967) aka Okasareta hakui

 A young man breaks into a nurse's rooming house and one-by-one kills off nurses.

The Hateful Beast (1970) aka Nihon bôkô ankokushi: Onjû

 

In the Edo era, two man arrive in a village and engage in criminal activity. While one of them becomes successful and rich, the other gets betrayed and ends up in prison, burning for revenge. The truth changes with the viewpoint in this Wakamatsu film, which has inspired comparisons to Rashomon.

A police detective, after learning that a rapist he just arrested shares the same ancestral village as him, proceeds to narrate its dark history of rape, violence and vengeance.

Plum Blossom (2000) aka Cheongchun(청춘)

 

A tender coming of age story about two teenage boys who embrace growing pains in a hard way. Teenage hormones are difficult to be restrained. High school senior, Ja-hyo is seduced into his first sexual experience by classmate Ha-ra, who eventually kills herself when he ignores her. Since then, he immerses himself in loveless sex until he meets cheerful nurse, Nam-ok. Meanwhile, his pal Su-in has developed a crush on, Jeong-hye his teacher, which is socially taboo.

Four Seasons: Natsuko (1980) aka Shiki Natsuko

 

A 20-year-old woman feels entrapped in her relationship with her current boyfriend - she wants out of her "nowhere" life and into something better. To that end, she hooks up with a photographer for whom she poses in the nude. She then starts a relationship with a well-known actor who is able to introduce her to an acting job. Maybe her life will change to the better after all.
